SEO is only a thought, not a position.

Recently i have received many former colleagues' feedback, many of them said SEO is not a continuable occupation. Because with the development of internet popularity in the worldwide, the seo knowleadge will be know by some people, which they usually browse some knowleadge about search engine, as this case go on, maybe most of us know the arithmetic of search engine, the only diffierence is that they are not professional SEO. AS far as my manager said that SEO is not a position, but a thought.
Are you agree this discuss, if you don't, please give me a cause.

I am not agree with you. There are millions of seo and all are having different views and different experience in the field of seo. So this may not be for all. Seo is wide field it demands hardwork, research and knowledge so there are various notions on seo.

Seo is science and art, seo is continuous process*, seo is an assumption, seo is research, etc.

So this is my defination.

If you are fearing about your future in SEO, than you must leave it.
Scared person won't produce fruitful results.

Your suggestion is very reasonable, I am agree. My meaning is that SEO is more and more popular, so there will be more and more people to join this feild, in some people's view, seo is not so heavenliness, there is some new point about search engine, not a technology job.

SEO is a study that can never end. Its like fighting with someone(search engines) that u can never win. Its all about adapting yourself according to the changing trends. and ya its not a joke that everybody can be a part of. An seo expert can do anything.

 

This depends on
- the size of the website
- the concurrence in its activity.
Not a science, but a hard work.

 

SEO is not math and in the near future things will continue to evoluate

 

Search engine optimization is no doubt a never ending process , the more you research the more is revealed. For upliftment of a site a strong SEO is mandatory.

 

By that same line of reasoning Professional web site development is a dieing occupation, Right? There are tools to do the work and all the information anyone needs on the internet to be able to get the job done.

Except........... Most people don't want to do it. They don't want to spend the time to learn how to do it, so.... They pay some one else.

Professional SEO is the same. The search engines require that the pages be readable, and navigation understandable to them. In addition sites do better with Proper title, meta tags and other factors addressed (this list can be pretty long).

All of these and many other things need to be learned to have a site perform at it's best. and there will always be work available for people who know how to do it well.

True SEO is not about fooling the search engines, it's about helping them to do their job.

I don't agree that SEO is a thought, i would rather think SEO is a form of art mixed with marketing. Art being that the web page design and layout is extremely important and without a proper design ,meeting html and css validation standards, ypu can forget to rank ( its like a building, without a good solid design the building will be crap no matter what u put into it.)

The marketing part is the creation of related back links and creating exposure, without back links you will get nowhere.

So i think SEO is art and marketing mixed to create a perfect venture
