Hwy I am Not Getting traffic From Yahoo

Hi All SEO Guys,

I have been in SEO industry around one year and more, i have a very few sites running online ,since i am getting a decent amount of traffic from google and bing but till today i didn't get any visitor from yahoo ..some of my sites are more then 6 months old and they are ranking good in Google and Bing ..but why not in yahoo..please ...can anyone can help me ?

 

Try to take the advantage of yahoo site explorer. I think yahoo gives importance to domain age as I too facing the same issue. My older websites are getting yahoo traffic but newer sites don't.

 

you are not getting traffic from YAHOO also you mentioned that your site is not ranking in YAHOO. Even in my case, my sites is ranking on 7th position in YAHOO in higher competition 2 phrase keyword, still till last day, in Google analytic, i have not seen any visitor from YAHOO.

 

I agree with your answer.First submit site in site explorer and check the links and issue also post in yahoo groups and yahoo answers

 

Yahoo is not important. And Yahoo rank is some how change from Google. the website who got 1st rank in Google may be possible it will get no ranking in Yahoo .. So its better to worry about Google not Yahoo

 

Search engine business is dominated by Google.

Even if you able to rank good in Yahoo, it won't deliver good results compared to Google because there are not many really searching for this keywords from other search engine than Google.

If you are targeting to get good amount of traffic from search engine, I suggest you to continue to target Google search engine.

There are difference between first top 3 ranking and top 10 ranking in Google.

Most searchers won't click more than 3 results in any search results.

So, getting to top 3 should be your primary goal in order to attract good amount of traffic referred from search engine (Google)

If you would like to get traffic from yahoo search results then you need to optimize your website at generic keywords. Once you will get ranking at generic keywords then you would be able to get traffic from yahoo as well as bing also.

 

You need to have quality SEO work done.

 

You can yohoo submits the directory, and install yahoo meta tags in your website.

 

You should concentrate for yahoo only, if you have the knowledge about SEO then start work for yahoo with better keywords.
