I play online poker almost daily, already won what i've deposited in a depositers freeroll which i withdrew..so just playing with money im up now.
I would never do it online. I did it at a Casino. I won money, but then put it back in and lost everything. Haven't been back there, since then.
Not a chance. I'm already wary of placing my information online too much; I definitely have no inclination to give people money for uneven odds on getting it back.
RWilson, I guess you are not a US citizen, because I think it's illegal to do what you say being from the USA?
I'm definitely not a US citizen onguardia. Australian born and bred and nearly all forms of online gambling are unrestricted here. I know the rules differ in the US but I can assure you there are millions of players (especially poker players) from the US that are playing daily online. I think it's a bit of a grey area over there. I haven't heard of anyone getting prosecuted for small time gambling online but i know there's a lot of sites these days not accepting US players.
Technically, we all are gamblers (the ones who sell at BST) because we make content, sites, and buy domains that maybe will never sell.
I think there's a very fine line between gambling and investment in a lot of areas. A lot of it just comes down to social stigma.
I personally think gambling online is a poor choice. You have no control over anything. There have been scams in the past with online gambling as well. Gamble in a real casino only.
