World's most unbreakable phone... broken in 5 seconds!

    Hi guys!

I found this whilst browsing the BBC website... the world's most unbreakable phone. It can be dropped from 10 stories and left underwater at 20ft for 30 minutes. But, a reporter is challenged to break it and does so in 5 seconds! Haha!

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8450385.stm

    Thought it was worth sharing!

Its good to know that the phone can only be broken if you're actively attempting to do so. Great durability :D

That is true... although it is supposed to be unbreakable no matter what. I'm sure Range Rover made an unbreakable phone too...

Yeah.. you have a point. Of course, calling something unbreakable just encourages users to abuse it more than normal which results in breaking.

I think by 'unbreakable' they are only referring to certain points of impact (top, bottom, sides, corner) and not necessarily striking it onto a very sharp surface against the face. False advertising either way I guess since obviously the reporter made short work of that phone lol.

They should have promoted it as a break "resistant" phone. that would have been good enough.

Just market it as less breakable than normal is all you need to do. Anything further is unnecessary.

Calling it unbreakable is a challenge for someone to break it and say it wasn't. Hmmmmmmm

Calling the phone as unbreakable is something challenging to destroy it and to prove to the company who made it that all phones can be break :D I think the reporter who breaks the phone is so proud to himself :D I just wander did he get a free phone because that's what said by the man who introduce the phone?

Getting it free... that's probably true. So no cost and break the thing. Give a reporter something free and say it's inbreakable. The only outcome is the thing is going to get broken.

Nothing is unbreakable and when it comes to phone, it is as fragile as that of any electronic gadget.
