If you want to make money from article writing DP is not the place to sell. Look elsewhere.

If you are looking to make the odd $5 here or $10 there from 10 - 50 articles, then this is a good place to sell.

Might as well you post the content at Dailyarticles. There is a bargain bin for articles that sell less than $10.

Write on what you know and build up a portfolio. You will find that the price you can charge increases as your portfolio does. The rates you quote seem awfully low though. Don't sell yourself short!

Improve your english, this will cost you time and money. And then instead of writing an article for $3, you write it for $60.

That seems like a good price for a short article, since it should take about 15 minutes or less to write an article that size.

The prices for content seems quite low on DP. While this is the visible trend there are many writers who are making way more than the common 1 cent a word. Yes, this is happening right here on DP. There are buyers that will will pay you 5 dollars a word if the work is worth it. The thing is most of these high paying jobs are not posted in the BST section of the site.

    Good Luck!

The better the quality, the better the price. It´s also convenient if you can offer site design services as well. That would probably be much more profitable.

Not to offend, but you don't seem to be a native English speaker. If that's the case, then that might be a little more than people will pay for your article.

First, I would suggest you take a look at this free video for some tips on finding keywords and niches: gratefulal.eCa.sh/DemolishCompetition or this free site: NichebotClassic.com and learn to do some keyword research with Google Keyword Tool. Find those LSI and Long-Tail phrases.

There is a lot of free information on using the keywords effectively in articles. Learning that will make your services much more valuable.

Secondly: Remember, this is the WORLD WIDE WEB! Look to market to your native language if not English. There are tremendous markets open to those not English speaking that you could tap that many of us do not have access to.

(Copy and Paste the BOLD phrases in your browser since I am not able to post 'Live Links' yet)

$3 is way too cheap for a 400 words article.

That all depends on the quality of your writing; good articles should cost more, bad ones less!

$3 - $5 seems to be the going rate this days. But the more important things is for you to build a good reputation by being a consistent and competent writer. In that way, you can be able to demand a higher price. There is really no secret when it comes to freelance writing - it's just plain hard work.
