Craigslist Tips/Tricks.. Same Ad.. How???? Heres how!

Since I no longer post ads on craigslist here is a simple, but effective strategy I used.

1. Put together a post.
2. Hit Print screen and paste screen into paint.
3. Copy just the part of your post into a new jpg file.
4. Upload the jpg file to your hosting account.
5. Post your image of you ad. (It should look just like a normal ad, but its actually an image)
6. I would always post the cities name so each ad was different.

** This should be only used once a day to prevent spam

Just copy and paste from a Word document.

 

He is saying that a normal text ad might get flagged, but a graphic image that is renamed every time will get past the censor.

Won't work for some sections on CL now but yes it's a simple yet effective way to get your ads showing. Don't try this in the jobs section though, most of your ads will get ghosted. You need another trick there.

so it still works? last time i checked i thought cl cracks down on image only ad.. you may want to add some description to each ad too

What's the catch to Craigslist?

I can open accounts using different phone numbers...no problem.

But, do I have to have different IP addresses for each account so that I can post ads in various cities on the same day?

 

Why is the purpose of all the spam you get from CL in email forms that want you to click on a link?

 

that is how they want to take you to another website where they can make a sale... they can put the sales pitch in the ad.. they have to place the ad somewhere else.. but i have to tell the cl fraudsters.. bad news.. now they start checking link targets too

 

Craigslist Image Ads are also used very effectively and legitimately by local businesses a part of their marketing mix because of the traffic CL enjoys. CL will only ghost an ad like this if they do engage in spamming techniques. But when used wisely and with frequency it can really boost sales.

As far as CL targeting ad with the same destination link, this may very well be true. Simply get a series of $1 domain names and use the redirect technique with ea post. Of course you really only need to use this if you are doing what CL calls spamming.

Good point, but there is a lot more you must know about posting to Craigslist if you want to avoid ghosting, flagging and your account put on hold.

 

it can be effective to get the picture ads that go straight to your website.

I used it before and had good success making 3-5 sales perday with just 10 ads placed but you really need to be creative with your headlines and changin the wording for each ad.

saying the same thing 10 different ways can get tricky

 

There is a guy in my local area that uses an image ad on CL, the exact same one and he posts it 4 or 5 times a day in the same category and I never see his ads flagged. AND they are clickable and all lead to the exact same website URL, so it may depend on which category you post to.
