Google Analytics or Statcounter

Hi,
Would like to know what is the difference between using Google Analytics and Statcounter?

Any info or help greatly appreciated.

I can say that google analytics can give more details regarding traffics which include the unique visitors that visits your site rather than the statcounter.

 

I always prefer google analytics it gives info about the traffic and other stuffs.

 

I would prefer to use Google Analytics because, its, free, flexible and give custom reports

Google analytics have lot of features compare to state counter, GA give facility of creating custom reports, you can check bounce rate of individual page, unique visitors, region specific traffic, keywords ranking detail, paid traffic etc.

state counter does not provide more features compare to GA..

so yes I like GA

 

My advice is to use Google Analytics. It's the best free tool out there and it can help you with a very detailed traffic analysis , GEO analysis and so on.

 

If you want realtime traffic stats go for Stat counter else Analytics

 

That's true, but where's the rush ? It's not like we're going to grow with 300 unique visitors in an hour

 

Statcounter shows you the report of click stat of ad.sense (this can help to prevent clicks fraud) while GA does not ! But I recommend you should use both of them for the best views

 

Google Analytics is what I use. Although, I have heard from others that Statcounter is not so bad!

First and big difference is Google analytics is completely free and statcounter is free only for 500 pages and you can not see the history within statcounter but possible in google analytics...... So cool and beatifically for webmasters....

They are both good. I use both as they both have some unique stats they give and both free . Have to check statcounter few times everyday if you don't want to pay as the free account only has log size of 500. If you combine analytics from both than it gives a very good analysis of your site visitors, reach etc.

 

l like Sitemeter you can easily Block your Own visits and See Keywords Google Analytics is more suited to higher Traffic Blogs and Websites

Its easy to block own visits with filters in google ANALytics too and they have much more features and advantages

 

As I use multiple Operating Systems and Browsers and Dont Have a Static IP Adress Filters are Too Much Work

 

Google analytical is the free Google service that generates statistic about the website visitors. Statcount is paid but if you want to have real time traffic then its better then Google..I prefer for my self Google analytical
