Before you answer, let me also ask, do you eat meat? A moratorium on whaling was put in place in 1986 because of dwindling stocks of whales. However, some countries claim that some species of whales have reached sustainable levels. What do you think? Do you eat meat? Are whales more important than -- cows? Why?
Every one of us has to draw the line somewhere. If you think that it's necessary for humans to kill whales for food (or even "research"), then so be it. That's your line. Draw it in the sand, and stand by it. Personally, I don't eat (or support the sport/research killing of...) cows or whales. Or chickens, or horses, or swans, or ducks, or pigs, or geese, or dogs, or donkeys. And it's not because of "dwindling stocks".
I firmly believe that all countries should comply with whaling laws...there are many who blatantly ignore the laws and they should be dealt with.
Whale laws lead to other things getting killed, laws on tose leads to other things getting killed and so on and on <.<
i eat human too, specially stupid DP noobs, so whale is not important to me, i will eat them if i get a chance
