How to make popular a very very specific niche? (IB students)

I've been working on my Textbook review website/blog for about a year, it was a bit slow to begin with, but I'm really starting to pick things up with it now.

I was just wondering if there are any hidden gems that I should know about for targeting International Baccalaureate students to my website?

    www.ib*d*amned.com

(I've stared it because I don't want people searching the term coming and finding my username:))

I've made a Facebook group and posted links around some groups to try and get some more traffic, have sent it to loads of directories under education and have (hopefully) got a good bit of SEO going. (First result for the search: IB Textbooks)

Any tips, tricks and ways to target something this specific? I was thinking of ways to try and get the website recommended on IB schools' websites (as it should be quite a useful resource)

    Thanks

Sounds like you are on the right path. I bet any International Baccalaureate have printed newsletters and/or mailing lists. You could also use those you do find to network and spread the word about your site with their colleagues.

Using Facebook is a very smart move. It is definitely on the right track.
You could try posting ads on campus websites. It will be harder, but effective.
Get links on sites with anything to do with save money on education, save on textbook, etc., could also help bring some traffic.
