The Death of LinkWheels
I'm sure most of you were aware of the buzz surrounding LinkWheels. LinkWheels had become very popular over the past few months because of their ability to provide instant high rankings for keywords on Google. In fact, several of our clients who had targeted not-so-competitive keywords had managed to occupy the entire first page of Google SERPs for their keywords.

However, over the past month or so, Google has stopped indexing most of the web 2.0 properties which are used for creating LinkWheels. In a 26 property LinkWheel, on an average, only 3-4 properties are getting indexed these days even though the content used is of good quality and is 100% unique. In my opinion, SEnuke has done to LinkWheels what Bookmarking Demon did to Social Bookmarking.

In short, this is what has happened to LinkWheels

• Google has stopped indexing the Web 2.0 properties used for making LinkWheels (unless these are aged, regularly updated and have almost nil outbound links
• To prevent the degrading SERP's ranking of their sites, several Web 2.0 properties are turning no-follow and several others are disabling new registrations
• Even if one of the properties in the LinkWheel is either deleted, deindexed, penalized or made no-follow, the entire LinkWheel is broken and becomes ineffective and useless.

The Birth of the BlogWheel
A BlogWheel is nothing but a LinkWheel which is created using self hosted blogs, instead of third party web 2.0 properties.

Why a BlogWheel is better than a LinkWheel

I went with the Gold package the job was completed about a week ago, I like to wait and see what the SERPs do with these types of services before making any judgments. I am glad to say that I have moved up for both keywords I was targeting. This is a good service.

Up to 3 links of which a max of 2 can go to the money page since the remaining 1 will be used by default to form the wheel.
