Biggest Lessons You've Learned So Far?

Keep working and don't stop just because there are no immediate results.

 

1. Have a product or service for sale
2. Build a website designed to sell it
3. Bring as much targeted traffic as possible

 

I'd have to agree with this one. I think this is what stops most people. That and reading too much information and taking no action at all.

 

Use psychology. Why? Because the sooner you put it into play, such as getting your foot in the door, the sooner you'll get a buck in your pocket.

Oh, and to contribute to that.. Read as many stories involving psychological thrillers as possible. I feel like my profits tripled after I read Kaiji and Akagi this past winter.

 

I have learned 3 things-some optimistic, some pessimistic:

1. It really IS possible to make decent money online, but it does take a great deal of hard work. I could quit my day job - if I wanted to. Most people give up because they're not willing or able to spend many, many, many hours working on their sites each week. Successful Internet marketers often work more than 40 hours per week. If you do put in the time and effort, and you have a product or service that is worthwhile, you will succeed.

2. A steady income is not guaranteed. There will always be other companies and websites bigger than yours. Large corporations with huge amounts of money can put up a site that is 10 times greater than yours overnight. It stinks, but the best you can do is learn from them and keep working.

3. Everything you need to know can be found for free on forums, blogs, and websites. If you're patient, you can search out the answers to any question you may have. If you're not patient, buy an expensive eBook or Internet Marketing product.

Haha, there is no book. Was just poking fun at some book and ebook authors who give bits and pieces and info, and then plug their book/e-book.

1. Don't lend big money to friends.
2. Cheap things not always bad things.

 

1. Ignore all those who take you for granted.
2. Cherish all those who are there for you the whole way.
3. Put friends before your girl (Friends come along for the whole ride and girls might just ditch you in the middle).

 

1) Dont fear competition, embrace it
2) Attack one project at a time
3) once you are in profit, outsource
