The best and worst ever. In the 'pro' column I drove 10,000 miles from the UK across Europe and Asia, through two deserts and across 5 mountain ranges, along the Afghan border in a region teeming with terrorists and heroin smugglers and hit the second highest road in the world in the middle of Tajikstan. I got arrested in Kazakhstan and was declared an enemy of the state, built a house with Habitat for Humanity in Mongolia and wandered around Beijing on National Day as the Chinese Army rolled through Tienanmen Square.

In the 'con' column my Â£70,000 a year income vanished a few weeks ago, leaving me destitute and a little worried about how I'm going to keep a roof over my head.

Still, an extremely good year rating a solid 9/10

I have rated the 2009 sith 5/10. I was most stressed in the year then else. I am 20 years old, had some downs and ups. But I had realy bad downs, example at college or being without money.

So my rate is 5/10. I hope for a good year and that I can rate next year 10/10

2009 was pretty ordinary year for me and it did not make much of a difference in the way I live.

Hopefully, 2010 would be lot more interesting and rewarding!

I Voted 7/10 Not a great Year for me to be honest Broke my leg twice in the first 4 months of the year then my grandad died a month later and basically jst worked for my apprenticeship for the rest very boring year.
