Buying PHP Teacher

Well, my wife is really new to programming, and she is interested in first learning php.
Since books can be too difficult for her, I'm thinking to hire someone to teach her CHEAP...
Count that she is starting from -1% (If you want I can teach her the basics, how to start, installing the software so she can try php without uploading it to a server, about databases, variables, etc. Very basic stuff).

If you are interested, send me the following:
How much time per week you can.
How much $$ per hour (MUST BE CHEAP).
    How patient are you.
How much she can achieve in 20 hours. Do you have MSN (If yes, give it to me) Her first language isn't english, but she can understand it, anyway I will be there almost in every lesson.

I was thinking in buy her a book, but that way she won't understand, and could not ask anyone what she understands, usually since english books uses a more sofisticated english.

    Thanks,
    Best Regards

Books really are great when first learning a programming language. You will be referring to them all the time. I would suggest taking her to a bookstore and having a look for a book that is written in a way your wife can understand.

Maybe you could setup the local server etc and teach her the basics. Then maybe see how she goes with a few online PHP tutorials. You could always hire someone to be available via MSN to answer any questions as she works through any exercises/tutorials.

I think tutoring over the web can be difficult at the best of times, especially if there is a language barrier.

    Hope this helps :)

Is Spanish, I want a really good book, since if she reads 1000 pages from a bad book, believe me, she won't read again about PHP. LoL.

    Thanks,
    Best Regards

I'd be happy to answer any questions that she has but I don't have enough time to teach her. Drop me a PM if this is an option.

well, for starters teach her how to use HTML, CSS then move to PHP..
coz you cannot learn PHP if you dont know how to use HTML..
