Hi, is it very bad to have English site (mine) on non English site (lets say PR4 or something like that) ? Or is it better to have my English site's link on another English site? What is your opinion?
Why should it be bad? If non-English site is high quality site with good content, backlink will have a positive affect like any other backlink from good site.
well, what about the search engines? If the site is in russian, wont it be google.ru bot? Or all bots are the same?
google knows that links can be in local sites also i think the bots will be the same.. the info is then differentiated based on content on the site
All these local search sites use the same system, the only different thing is ranking. If you do a search on local site for content in your local language, local sites will be ranked much higher. Hope it makes sense.
