or pay for a bot to comment your vidz, maybe the view increaser bots not working after 300 views but the commenters & raters do...

never use gmail addresses with youtube, coz google owns both, so use e.g. yahoo and you're just fine

This is another way of going about YT marketing. I was just using a way that posts QUICK results. If you add quality to the community then you will do better in the long run. I have 2 accts. that i use for quality stuff, and they have subscribers and friends, and i get a lot of views from my channel. I agree that you can go about this in multiple ways and still get some results. Some methods will show quicker results, while others will show long term stability.

yeah buying comment and especially submitting comments such as - thanks for the video, great post etc etc are just not really adding any value, its just trying to force the issue rather than , as SeBrantigan says, buying into the hope. I would have a quick look on google for some other methods of fully optimising your yourtube submissions and focus on organic traffic.

but hey , its just my two pennies worth

If you're an affiliate and you just want a quick buck, and these things work for you then hats off to you.

Hey don't forget you can make money too....

And here's another traffic tip...Post a video response to another video, a popular one, related to yours....it works also.

Good tip and it works, can we have single video as response of many other videos or if we submit the video to many as a response it will just be the video response to the last one?

I had submitted a video as response to many but just wondering , does it work or not?

The tips are really useful as I have just done my research and evaluation why my very own youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43Q_eDEhHP0 did not do much as I expected. It has just about 11,000 views which was posted about a year ago . Though the video subject (adult oriented how-to) is not geared toward the general demographics but I'm thinking it could make some kind buzz.

Now I'm working on another video and might as well implement all your tips.

People also send me a video in my inbox. I always look because I think "why are they sending me this?" It feels like a personal thing...

Put a message with it saying:
Hi there I have been watching your videos on Youtube and think they are great, just wondering if you could give me some pointers on how to improve my videos.

Send this out and you will get people wanting to help you...

People do it to me all the time...

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the best way to send your video viral is to upload it through tubemogal.com...You upload you video, description, tags to this site for free, then it posts it on all the major video sites out there.. You have to signup to be a member though... This is a great way to build a reputation... I put a message at the end of the video telling them to go to youtube if they want to see more...(just in case they are watching it on another site) (youtubes the most important video site)

Thank you for sharing. Commenting on your videos is not good though. Youtube can block you from commenting on your videos, from commenting on your channel, sending videos to friends ....etc

Yeah on one of my websites I get about half of the traffic from my tutorials on youtube. I feel that pretty soon it will be my major source of traffic since my other main source is dying quickly.

why do you have to cloak it?

Can't you just put in the description "check out my site for other stuff"?

I have not uploaded to YouTube before, although I do intend to soon.
    thanks :)

You skipped a couple of important things - such as submitting the video to social bookmarking sites. Sites like digg might be quick to ban a small blog, but they probably will not ban youtube submissions.

Google ranks youtube pretty high in the search results. The more incoming links a video has, the better it will rank in the google search results.

Join some forums that have embedding enabled - and post your videos there.

Invite bloggers to use your videos in their post.
