blogs and adsense

currently i have my blog here http://seoandstuff.blog.com and i'm not making any money off of it. Soon, i'll move on to my own domain and have my own adsense running on it. Anyhow what i'm wondering about is how to make the blog show more on target ads. All of the adsense at that page is showing blog advertising, maybe thats just because of blog.com ?

Anyhow i'd be happier if it showed related ads in SEO services which would likely get the most clicks by my users.

It might be. In my blogs i put 3 blocks of adsense, and most of the time 2 of those blocks show blog-related ads, and the other shows content-relative ads. I think it would probabily go off when you remove the "blog" part off your domain. Also, it could be fixed with better placement, or adding more blocks to the site....

I think the first problem is to get the traffic, traffic is the Num.1!, if you got the traffic all things will run well

Maybe I am missing something or you have changed the site around but I am not seeing any adsense ads on your site. There are a couple of Yahoo ads but that is all I am seeing right now.

Did you change the ads on your site? Is this a new site and has it been indexed by Google? If it is new, you may find irrelevant ads at the beginning but once the bots start crawling the site and you continue with focused content, the ads should reflect that.

In your template, search for the term $BlogItemBody$, then include your tags as follows:
    <!– google_ad_section_start –>
    <$BlogItemBody$>
    <!– google_ad_section_end –>

Attached is a screenshot of what I see when I visit the link in your first post. As you will see, the ads in the right bar are apparently from Yahoo. Those are the only ads that I see on the site.

interesting, they're probly testing out different ads in different areas. Perhaps they're using YPN for people in the states, and still adsense in china.
