900 followers is not too much, if they're not targeted! and they have to be active followers, not just registered once with twitter and never come back, there are pretty much of them if you check your twitter profiles, if ya want to try affiliate marketing with twitter your followers have to be targeted and active if you want to sell anything most of the time twitter traffic is crap, so i recommend you to try twittad or revtwt mentioned above and if you have no marketing skills at all, this is exactly what you're looking for, just gain your followers number and you're golden, there are bots which can do this trick for you but be careful twittering is harder day by day
