Looking to Get Published? Increase your credibility

why would they submit articles to your site for free?

 

When I got started writing news articles, I found it difficult to get my foot in the door. I had dozens of sample articles, but everybody wanted to know the same thing: where can I find articles that you've written? In other words, where are you published. Nobody wanted to be the first to publish me.

Finally, I was given the advice to "get my name out there" and contact some of the free throw away newspapers to offer some articles for free. I did this about ten times with ten different rags. After that, I had ten newspaper articles to show editors. Finding a job writing was much easier after that.

This was, of course, before the days of Internet publishing. It is much easier to "get your name out there" today.

My hunch is that your reason for replying to my post was to get your link in. I am sure that you have a great service that helps a lot of writers and wish you the best of luck. I also hope that you find a better way of promoting your services. Stepping on another thread is a little distasteful, if you ask me.

To have own blog and get the articles up there is better. Else, why would this be different?

 

Massage your temples, rajudas. It will increase blood flow to your brain.

 

I really want to get published if it would enhance my writing credibility. Only one of my work has been published since I started writing Eight Weeks back. Now that I know how important it is to get published, I will work towards that. Thanks for the info.
