Feedback on an infraction..? Lol

I just got an infraction, thought I would post something because I got it for bumping a thread when I had replied to somebody asking if I wanted to exchange links with a baby pictures site and I said Looking more for sites directly related to designing. He must have deleted his post and it seemed like I bumped it, when I really didn't.

I'm not upset, just thought I would say something because I didn't intentionally do that! I don't know where to post this, but it's my honest feedback. I just don't want to get banned...

Posting to say you're looking for more sites is bumping, regardless of whether or not it was in response to someone else. Also, if something should have been sent via PM (like the other post in your thread), don't assume their breaking the rules means you can / should do the same. Responses to posts like that should be via PM (or ignored and reported using the report post button if they're irrelevant to your thread).

 

I didn't say I was looking for more sites. I was saying that in regards to the website that was posted in the post before mine saying I would like sites more along the lines of designing instead of what he had posted. But whatever....

 

Still bumping. Still not allowed.
