Should I Submit Related Articles Or Unrelated?

    If i submit related articles to article directories and link to my site, then it will be better for SEO?

    Here's what i mean:

    Let's say my website is about "laser printers". Does that mean i should submit articles about "laser printers" to get the most out of backlink value? Will this help me in SEO terms?

    What if i submit unrelevant articles to article directories for that same site? Will this reduce backlinks value and won't help that much in SEO?

    You should be submitting related content. By doing this, you are able to sell people on your website.

    Imagine this. You do an awesome write up about the new core i7 processors that Intel have bought out, then in the author credit link you provide a link to your website about Dog Training. Doesnt sound right, does it?

    Create articles that are about your primary and secondary keywords, and use keyword based anchor text for your links. That will help you out alot more.

    One good way to find relevant topics/keywords is using the Google Keyword Tool it will show you relevant terms, and how many people are searching for them.

    My aim is not sell people. I am not looking to get referrals through my articles. My aim is to just increase my rankings.

    Hi Mate...

    Its better to put relevant content and then draw people to your site..otherwise you will be driving traffic but that traffic wont dont do any thing for you...except for decreasing your alexa rank... :)

    Yes, you are correct you should always go through relevant content suppose your site is leaser printer you must like article about computer spare or printer so you will get targeted traffic suppose if you write article health and beauty you are allowed put back link leaser printer but you will get traffic for health and beauty interested people it’s vale less

    You should submit related content, but if you're trying to rank for a specific keyword phrase, don't use it in the article, otherwise the article might end up ranking higher than your site.
