Can you really make $10,000/month with Article Writing?

No way! they are probably trying to get you to write content for free. I mean you could make that if you are writing for the New York Times

 

Ha. I'm sure there are some top dollar article writers over at the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal making $10,000/ month. XD

 

Actually some write per word... I cant remember exactly the per word standards... but some get paid some big bucks... I know even reputable sites like about.com only pay about $6-8 per article.... so I would not buy a Mercedes benz and hope to make the payment with the proceeds of writing online!

 

I get around $300 of articles monthly and usually this person will complete my order with about 16 hours of work, so if you do the math you can get say around $4,000 in one month, but you'd be busy as heck. On top of that you'd need to be able to find larger budget buyers like myself as well which is the hard part.

 

Maybe if you write porn articles. ;-)

 

Nothing is impossible as the internet has proven to have made billionaires out of college dropouts and the like so making $10,000 a month in doing article writing is not impossible. You can probably achieve that only one time in your career (let's say earn a jackpot 10 grand this month and then go back to your usual $300-$500 on the next). Also it is highly probable if you happen to have a very large network of affiliate writers who can help write for you but I guess that doesn't count anymore because the question is built upon achieving that kind of article writing income ALONE,meaning by yourself, right? If you really are keen to reach that kind of monthly income or more, might as well look for a higher paying online career.

How much do you pay this person to make $300? Also isn't it possible to hire 1-2 more at same or lower rate to write quality stuff - that way you are not dedicated to this one person alone & you never know you may find some excellent talent.

 

I've made a pretty decent living writing articles online, about $2,000 per month at one point. However, I go for larger jobs and sometimes outsource.

 

I think $10.000 per month is unrealistis....

 

I'm not sure if this post is about affiliate marketing with articles, or writing articles for others as a business due to the answers so far.

In either case, you can make $10,000 per month with either. In affiliate marketing, if you have 5 successful niches making 4 sales per day at $25/sale, that is $500 per day - MORE than $10,000 per month. You would have to write alot of articles, probably 2 to 3 per day in each niche.

With article writing as a profession, you can make that as well. I work on an average 5 hours per day, and make an average of $3,600 per month writing articles and web content for other people. If I were to be willing to work 10 or 12 hours per day, I believe I could attain an amount near $10,000.

 

perhaps. I have some products that convert like 1 sale in 30 articles and some products that convert one in every 5 articles... it's a very tiring process to begin with as you have to write a LOT of articles before you find the winners.
