    Hello Everyone,
I am new over here. I would like to be web designer. But I am a bit confused… According different messages that I could read over here, most of people advice to go on tutorial websites, and to learn and practice by myself. So I take this advice seriously but at the same time, I would like to get a certified and recognized training/qualification.
I saw a school in London but I am not sure if it is efficient… what do you think?

Its worth a shot if you have the time to take the classes. Do you create pages now? I find you learn better by ojt, on the job training. Get yourself some design software and then start creating wordpress sites or something. If I were going to take a class I would take a scripting class like php or ajax.

    Good Luck

Unfortunately, I did not have time to start. but tomorrow will be my first day. I have to say I used Dreamweaver when I studied Internet MArketing and E-commerce. It is a while now. Do I really need to be good in CSS or should I only master Dreamweaver, and other things such as PHP, Ajax and flash and 3D?

You need to start from the beginnig..

It's best for you now. You can go ahead after finishing this and a CSS Essential Training course.

If you really want to spend your money on a course like the one you described, you could go that way or choose the other route. What I mean by that is taking the lynda.com route or finding tutorial sites. If you really want a true education you'll have to get a fine arts degree or associates in mulitmedia/web design at a real college. Some might even offer online classes but you'll have to go through them one by way. Hope that helps some, good luck.
