It would be nice to have some affiliate programs in place with residual commissions in case a position change ever occurs. I know there are some hosting programs out there with residual commissions. What else is out there?

Hi, I also recommend Clickbank for their great selection of products but you might want to look at SFI ( strong future international) which is well established and has a worlwide membership. Mal.
It is hard to get people to buy again and again if you don't find a way to motivate the customers to do so. Your job is to get an opt-in list so people can come to you for advice so they will stay in the program.
Another "residual" program that has been decent for me is Neverblue Ad's Referral Commission Program. You earn 2% of what your referrals generate in revenue for life... They are also one of the best affiliates! Regards, nscdn
Clickbank has some really good residual programs, but to make the best use of them, you really need to motivate the people who sign up to continue paying for the program.
Not always true. Some people will keep buying time and time again depending on the product. If it's a shop selling food, then they may keep buying of them for that food. If it's someone buying web hosting, then a majority of people would want to keep to that same hosting provider if they offer a good service as they don't want to keep moving their site to other hosting providers, etc.
