    $25 Header Design Contest

    This is for a friend of mine


    I would like a header designed for my friends website XXhttp://www.casinoguidesonline.com/XX.

    Size is 1013px x 230px and he would prefer it to blend with the existing colour scheme,



    Must have a Casino theme to it as this is the market he is targeting, apart from that it's up to you.

    Please when you submit your entries, make sure they have a heavy watermark as he would like to try them on his site before he declares a winner

    $25 by paypal to the winner and comp will run until he finds the right one

    Thanks flurgle for starting this contest for my site.

    Feedback on the designs so far:

    wrongrantau - not keen on the red/green combination between font colour and background. Overall look is a bit flat for me.

    titiloko - Looks too plain. Needs to have casino-related theme.

    focused - really like the 'quality' feel to this design though I'm not sure in it's current form it will sit well on my site which is predominantly red.


    Will return later to give more feedback on other entries. Thanks to those that have posted so far.

    Looking at 'focused' design again this is definately the kind of style I prefer. Originally I thought being on a dark background it wouldn't work, but with it in place it ties in with the featured article and embedded video.

    nidhi - layout is good but the large white background to the lettering is a bit offputting.

    technoguy - as with nidhi, the layout is good, maybe a bit too busy. Like the vegas-style sign.

    zinni- looks good with the couple at the pc.
