So I won some money @ poker and decided to get a better PC or to buy a console. What do you think? Most people say that PC gaming is dead (I strongly disagree) so I really don't know what to do next. None of my friends have consoles.
i bought a ps3 and although its collecting dust, its good fun when you get into it. its getting me to turn the thing on, once i do that, thats me for months hooked on playing it then i realise that im not working alot and have to give myself a boot up the arse lol. PC is good but enjoy console gaming more, although die hard PC gamers will say otherwise and their is benefits to the PC.
Oh yes it is most definitely worth getting a console. I would recommend the PS3 if you just want to plug a console in and play. An Xbox takes a bit of time to get going. However more expensive the PS3 will be more worth it in the long term. Have a gander at my 12 Games of Christmas list to see what games you should be at-least considering.
It depends on what games you want. I got the PS3 because I wanted to continue playing the Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet & Clank, and Final Fantasy series, and other PS3 exclusives. Also, it being a blu-ray player was a plus, since I wanted one for the living room; that feature played a notable part in my selection, as well. As for what version of the PS3 I got, I settled for the $250 slim model.
Go get a console, you can play on big screen TV, it's a total new experience compare to playing on PC.
Well nowadays consoles are good but then games are somewhat expensive i guess atleast here in india..people feel the games are expensive and therefore stick to pc gaming
I agree on getting a console. I have and 360 and PS3. The 360 is collecting dust. That thing is SO loud compared to the PS3. I still buy a couple of games to play on the Xbox but PS3 is my main console.
i vote console. for gaming its less expensive then upgrading your computer and easy to hook up on a big screen
The problem is that I already have a gaming PC. Playing on the big screen is not a problem. I buy a DVI to HDMI cable and ready. I would only consider the XBOX 360.
I got an xbox 360 and I play live. It is dam fun no jokes. Takes quite a while to get bored. And when you get bored and stop playing it, you will come back and play it again and enjoy the same fun Definately worth an xbox 360 live. Without live = no fun
