Selling ChromeBoard.com (> 20k unique visitors in last 4 months)

I am selling: www.ChromeBoard.com

This site is a forum for Google Chrome, it has an average of 4-5,000 unique visitors a month (all search engine free traffic) and at this moment all it needs is a little bit of time to become a real success.

I am currently managing over 2000 domains and simply have no time to spare.

Just not enough traffic. And your main competitor which is much more established than yours doesn't get much traffic either. Which leads me to believe that even if you caught up and passed your competitors you still wouldn't get tons of traffic and posts.

This is just an offer and my rationale behind it, please don't take offense.

 

Well, it's a matter of opinion. I think this forum has a lot of potential as Google is pushing hard for this browser to become their flag ship. It's even being advertised on their main page as we speak.
I've started couple forums and some are now close to 1 million posts, they all started like this, but looking back, this one has a nice and steady traffic, which is a huge advantage and easy to build on.

Look, that maybe be a matter of opinion. I think this site has a lot of potential and since last October, very nice and steady traffic. Given little bit of time, with this quite a nice domain name, it is in my opinion worth about $1500 currently. So if it's high, please do not bid, that's all.
We can also let it sit here and I bet one year from now, when Chrome get way more popular, there'll be a lot more interest.

 

thats just it mate, now isnt a year from now.. so the board is what it is now, this second, not even worth $300. google have there own forum now, they may add to it with google chrome or make a new one and blow you out the water.
please no offense but your sites worth a bit more than the vbulletin cost of the board and the domain.

6 months later:
Site is still available for sale, but it's no longer getting 4 thousand visitors a month, but about 15k/Month (500 uniques a day). Some days over 700, some even higher, graph since 1 September 2009:

The site's content is looking old though..

but if you put me into a starting bid, i'd be happy to start off..

 

No revenue, there is one Adsense, small banner, just so Google is registering site, otherwise the traffic is in no way monetized at the moment. Most members come to read at the moment, as I said, site needs someone who can dedicate at least 20 minutes a day to it and it'll grow like crazy. Anytime I see 5-10 new posts, Google sends me good 100 new uniques a day. Traffic totally reflects new content.
