Anyone make money from affiliate product links in Yahoo Answers?

    Hi there,

I heard a good way to make affiliate sales, is to answer questions through Yahoo's answers, including your hop link to an affiliate product. Some people buy a url and redirect, or use a url shortening website to make the url less ugly.

Anyone have any success from this? Do you think its worth your time?

    Sam

I do not think it's worth the time since you're not allowed to post affiliate links on Yahoo! Answers. Do what I do, create a website about a product, and then answer question related to it with a link to your website. By doing that, you don't get banned! Good luck Sam.

Or if that don't work, you can always redirect your URL from your site to the affiliate site with the HTML code. Its kind of like hiding the Affiliate url until it loads up. For example freeadvertising4money.com

It never worked for me and was far too time consuming IMO.

Definitely NOT the way to go.

You won't last longer than a day on Yahoo Answers with that sort of strategy.

Yeah, that's a pretty good way of doing it... but Yahoo! is smart. If they click your link and get redirected to a new website - I'm pretty sure they'll get those links removed or block your IP.

It doesn't work since people often aren't looking for the exact thing you have to offer. They want to know where to buy it, and when you give them your website - they simply consider it - they never buy what you have to sell. Create a website instead!
