Forums can be a great way to promote your opportunity or product, but I think you should also genuinely participate in discussions to.Forums like this provide a lot of great information and potential customers.

 

I have my blog on my signature so people know where to find me. I'm on here though so I can meet new people and expand my operations. I'm definitely looking at growing my internet income to a full income every month. I'd like to hit some crazy numbers.

I'll use the sig link since I have the option, but I am here to learn, more than anything. It's a shame the best thing I have learned is how to weed through the bullshit posts that take up much of the space here. (This is not one of those)

 

I couldn't agree more. I have experienced the very same. However, I do drop in a post to the community about a new project now and then.

If someone is here for just link building, it is pretty obvious by reading their posts. To answer the ops question, link building and SEO is always on my mind no matter what I do with my site. If I'm adding new content, I'm thinking about keywords, keyword density, etc. When I visit a forum, I'm there for the info and researching for answers to some questions, but I do value the links in my signature as well. I think most will answer that they are here for not just one thing, but many.

 

I am here to get more knowledge, selling my products and get to know some friends out there. Promoting my site is also one of my reason why i joined forum posting.

I came here to learn originally. I tried flogging links in various categories of articles I write and publish but there were no takers, plenty of time wasters and it wasn't worth the effort - nowadays I approach external companies with relevant products and services - none of those here. I've never promoted my main sites here but I do promote an article I feel all DP members could have use of - tee hee

 

Basically i'm here to learn new stuff and to get buyers / sellers.
