Best Way to Integrate a Forum into Wordpress

Hi All,
Please could someone tell me what's the best way to integrate a forum into Wordpress? Is there a reliable plugin (free or paid) that can do the job?

There are a few free forums what you can use with Wordpress.
All depending on what forum you want to use.

many forums are free available but lot of extra time to set it up .

The forum uses the wordpress user database.

I have got wordpress & vBulletin both on my site www.sitereviver.com & www.sitereviver.com/forums but I did not use any plugin or something like that.

Both sections coded and installed separately and everything is working great

 

Will check it out, Site Reviver. The interesting thing I noticed about Simplepress is that it uses the WP MySql database, so it would seem to resolve a double-registration issue. We have to make it as simple as possible, right!?

1. V-bulletin (paid)
2. Vanilla ( free )
3. BBPress plugin
