HI, I have placed a highest bid i.e. Rs. 20/- ($0.40) But, it is showing avg. pos. at 0 and my ads are not displaying. More importantly, I am not getting message 'below first page bid' on any keyword.

It is showing every keyword 'eligible' but not showing ads anymore.

    help!
    Thanks

I've ever had the same experience with you. here's what I do to solve that problem.

    1. I make sure that in my ad groups, I only use one keyword with phrase match and exact match. So, if you have 50 keywords, you will split it into 50 adgroups.

    2. I make sure that my ad containing the keywords in Headline, body, and domain. I make 1 or 2 ads for every adgroups.

    3. I raise the bid up to $1, then I evaluate once in a week

    4. I delete low CTR keywords and gradually lower my bids

Check your quality score. If it's QS=1, that's the "off" switch and usually because of TOS non-compliance. If 2 or 3, your ads will show very rarely as that's a Poor QS, usually because of poor keyword relevance. Even QS 4 to 5 your ads may show less often.

Unless your QS is one, make sure keywords are relevant. Work on your ads to increase CTR which will increase QS.

The question is, how many impressions were you getting before? It may just be a seasonal effect and fewer searches on your keywords right now.

Check you ads... probably the ads have been disapproved. So even if the keywords are active, you won't get impressions.

No, its not the case. Everything is fine as mentioned in the thread.

Can you please tell me how to switch from CPC to CPM.

    Thanks

CPM pricing model is only for content network campaigns. I don't recommend it until you know what your CTR is and if switching will save you money.

Try CPM only if you have got enough experience... Comparatively CPC is better as you control the cost per click.. With CPM you pay for the impressions... so even without any action from user, you will still pay. Exactly like the PPV... Wrong product promotion & you will lose your shirt.

Jut be patient and wait for a few days. In these days Google always take a long time to review a new account.

What does your quality score look like? Did you just set up this campaign? It may take some time before your ads begin to show.

if you check the keywords tab it will tell you what your quality score is for each keyword..

I assume you're bidding on a keyword that relates to your ad and landing page? Otherwise you have no chance of it showing :)
