I would spend at least $1500 on software: Twitter adders, Bookmarking Demon, etc etc

The rest on Adwords and marketing tools, maybe hire a decent programmer for some custom modules and such.

It depends how experienced you are in IM. Be very careful or you could waste the lot. If inexperienced get a mentor and learn from someone who is already making money online.

Depends what you are trying to promote dude!

With some industries Adwords is way tooooo expensive...

With some industries you can go miles just by getting a decent press release distributed...

    It all depends!

I'd spend it on outsourcing my article writing and I'd buy some tools to make my job easier.

I'd also probably hire a website designer so I could free up more time and just tell them what I want done.

Outsourcing is the key to automating your business just make sure you know what you're getting before you spend the money.

Personally I'd focus on a CRM campaign, mostly the bulk of the funding would go towards a grassroots campaign. I'd host events for free, which builds the core following, then from there I could set pricepoints, ultimately creating some profit :)

I think I would spend it on outsourcing. Someone to drop all of my articles and video. I like making my own content but I hate the tediousness of uploading it all!

Yes, adwords do work and $5000 would go a long way. Some idiots (for that is what they are) still spend on magazine advertising - no results and costly in environmental terms.

Better still I'd keep the money and write articles - perhaps pay someone else to submit them but to my sites so I keep the AdSense...
