[WTS] websnips.com - (unique concept) Make a widget out of any site

Hi Everyone,




This site websnips.com has been a large part of my life for a long time so it is with great regret that I may have to sell this.

The site essentially allows the user to make a widget out of any section of any site and then customize the widget, by changing the colour, size etc. They then can embed the widget into their site or igoogle.

This is a completely unique idea and to my knowledge there is no site that offers similar functionality. Furthermore the script is completely custom programmed especially for this site. All rights to the programming go to the buyer of the site.

It has been running for about 6 months now and i have been very busy with a new job and have been unable to market it very well. That said it has been featured in many online sites including:

It took me over $1500 to get this site developed and designed and i have been offered $1000 for the domain alone.

It is a real shame that i have not had time to properly market or monetize this site, but i have no doubt that a potential buyer could have a great amount of success and profitability with this site, if the proper amount of time was spent working on it.

Especially since the site is viral in nature, where the user embeds the widget they made to their website this links back to us generating more traffic and more embeds for us which continues the cycle.

I also have some potential development plans which i would provide to a buyer amongst everything else.

For the reason of my lack of time no effort has gone into monetising it so there is no income, on average there is 90 visits per day according to awstats. (access can be provided, to a very interested party or screenshot by email)

Although there is no income on this site the immense potential, uniqueness, and amazing domain would value this site very highly, for that reason i will not be considering offers under $2500. If anyone has any questions or wants to express interest please let me know.

Which links aren't working? It is a little slow because it is on a very cheap bad hosting package.... Did you try to make your own widget?

Excellent concept, and my widget worked just fine. Good luck with the sale, if it weren't Christmas time, I might go for it myself.
