You guys are funny. We ban fake content publishers all the time, and yes I'm sure there are more in our system as I type this. This post was started by a member of our competition trying to get our advertisers to turn on us since they use the same advertisers we do, except they don't get the same deals we get because we have 20x+ more traffic. Our advertisers already know some fake content publishers slip through the cracks, it's the reality of any business, people will always try to take advantage. It's hard to watch over all 30,000 publishers. We take action as they are reported. This is our warning which is displayed to all publishers before they can officially create a Widget: Warning: By creating this Widget, you are agreeing that this Widget will not be used to monetize pornographic material. This Widget must lead to the content you are advertising which means no fake links, missing content, or broken promises. If you are caught breaking these rules, CPALead reserves the right to revoke all earnings and terminate your account. Then they have to click "I Agree" to create the widget. This warning has always been there, it's ludicrous to say we ever supported fake content. It's like saying eBay supports scammers because 10% of eBay users could be scammers. We haven't lost a single advertiser due to this post if any of you are truly concerned. Happy Thanksgiving everyone
I would not be surprised if he just got his username changed, but if really was banned then he deserved it. I hope the others are caught too!
he was banned I know him personally - all his earnings were revoked and he is out almost 50K. To Troy, thank you for working hard to keep cpalead the best network there is - I highly recommend them guys they are superb. And Happy Thanksgiving BTW
hmm...funny...you are one of his closest friend....and you always used to support him... i don't think he is banned as yet.
how long did he run cpalead's offers? Thats really some if he can make 4k for just one day How much then if it had been one year?
I'm sure the staff of CPALead does what it can do ban and avoid fake content publishers and other scams. They have no choice. If they don't watch the publishers closely, their network will get a bad rep and will lose its advertisers eventually.
That's not a cpalead widget on the site, and there's no reason why his website would be gone. He still owns it, so he can do what he wants with it. Looks like he just went with another offer network.
