The only cost is that you will need to get an auot responder service. Prices vary between companies and the service plan.
Hi Melissa, you could use Aweber and import your email list and increase your list by adding their opt-in box to your site. I use them. Getresponse is another auto responder you could use.

I am not sure if there is a newsletter plugin for wordpress but you can use the optin email boxes of autoresponder services. There is one service that I know of called Mailchimp which is free for up to 500 people on the email list. You may want to start with that.
I think the confusion here is "newsletter campaign". What is your definition of that Melisa? I thought you were wanting to capture email addresses (build a list) and were going to send your subscribers a newsletter. For that you need an auto responder. If you want to do something else, let us know.
