It's not rocket science. Follow the dmoz submission guidelines.

yes i can understand your problem..i also tried my new site to submit dmoz but they are not taking ..i fallowed their guidelines ...may be they have some technical problems ..so better wait for more days ..

Ya i also tried my site to submit there but it dmoz does not accept.

 

I suppose you submitted your site but not approved. Wait about one year and check out.

Or better don't waste 2 minutes of your life submitting.

 

1. Find the best category
2. Submit
3. Forget

or like the poster above said, points one and two are both optional

A few better points...

1. Make sure your site is established (6 months at least)
2. Read the criteria guidelines of the directory
3. Make sure your blog/site fits into that.
4. Find the best category for your blog/site
5. Read the category description
6. Skim several of the listed sites
7. Make sure your blog/site truly fits within both description and listed sites
8. Read the guidelines on Title & Description
9. Submit following those guidelines
10. Forget about it as getting listed may take years

 

Well endorsed by the man who took the trouble to become an editor in order to ensure his site was listed in DMOZ and then left.

By the gods, try being helpful for a change, you'll find that it makes you a better Methodist.

 

Just pointing out how much trouble you went to get a DMOZ listing, when you want to tell others not to bother. Just thought that was relevant to how much you REALLY thought about the directory for your OWN websites when advising others about theirs and a possibility of being listed.

2. move it gently to the right
3. locate '' Start '' button from the button
4. click on that button and when it's expanding click on '' turn off computer '' & confirm on next step .

It can atke from a few days to a few years for a a review for a possible listing. You can do no more to promote your site at DMOZ so now move on and promote it at other sites.
