Which of the following domain extension will be better for a website targeted for UK market.

    .info or .uk.com

.com and .co.uk are already booked and I have to choose from one of them now. Will taking .uk.com will have better impact than taking .info or other such as .net, .org especially if website is for UK market.

    Hi,
You must go with the uk.com extension for dealing with UK visitors because it exactly shows that your site is based on UK product, customers or services.

If your website is specifically targeted for UK market only, then go for .co.uk as it's going to make your advertisements on craiglist even more recognizable

if your website is special from UK use .uk.com but if it is for word wide use .info is better then .uk.com :D .uk.com is a subdomenin but .info is domain name!

I think .info is better because it is show site name while .co.uk is subdomain.

.info looks cheapo? Nope. .info is mainly for blogs. .uk.com is just so confusing.

it depends what you will have on the site.If you are creating a site for information purposes, then use .info,if you are selling products and services then .uk.com will do fine.

Build your site for your visitors and not search engines or SEO
