I have a couple of sites in dmoz since 2004 but it is very rare to see any direct visitor from dmoz or its clone Google directory

You can say that the traffic benefit is negligible

I get about as much traffic from DMOZ as I get from any other directory ... next to nothing.

I think it really depends on the category... ;)

We have a site listed in video niche and it gets some good clicks on certain days
and whats really nice is that its quality direct traffic with low bounce.. :)

    thx

Getting listed in DMOZ can bring you tons of traffic because of the improvement in natural google rankings, but the directories on their own provide very little traffic because people just do a google or yahoo search. A good DMOZ listing with some decent SEO can be a gold mine!
