How can you verify an american Us paypal account. can you do it with just a credit card or do you require a bank account to. I also understand that you can purchase a bank account and a prepaid credit card to verify your paypal account do any of you know how I may go about doing that. My last question is that if someone is making a payment to you can they somehow check which country your paypal is from? Thanks

yes, they are able to check your paypal account from which country. and for verify the us bank account, you just need to enter the bank information and paypal will deposit few bucks to your us bank account to verify it.
PayPal accounts now need to be verified with a US Checking Account. Simply adding a credit card is not enough. This was implemented to help prevent people in non-PayPal countries from opening US PayPal accounts simply with a credit card.
Yeh, and my account got frozen too Lol it was cause I forgot my password so it was limited when I tried it too many times. The reason I watned the US paypal account for is for AC upfront payments. Guess thats a goner plan for me. lol so much for that
