    Hi people
Before 3-4 days in my blog there was a sudden increase in traffic. All it came from StumbleUpon and was focused on only one article in my website (That article I submitted more than a month ago at StumbleUpon and i don't understand how did so much traffic came to my page within a day, without doing nothing).
Than I checked Google AdSense and there was NO CLICK IN THE ADS!
I don't understand why. I have placed the adsense in good positions in my website, and i don't get why it happened like that. There were around 1500 clicks that day and no one clicked on the ads.
Anyway I'm waiting for some help about this
    Thanks a lot

Stumbleupon traffic is generally not interested in clicking your ads, according to my experience with them. As for the sudden boost, someone might have stumbled it and many followed after that, if it continues to be at the top they expect more traffic - not more $ though.

Somebody did the work and submitted his article to stumble upon for him.

The real question is did you make any money from that?

I once got about 5k visitors from Digg and not a single click, so it's really not that astounding when you realize the quality of traffic. Just keep trying, at least it was a bump in traffic

Adsense Cash in and converts most where your visitor comes from search engine which actually clicks ads.
On the other side traffic from SB sites like stumble, digg etc is most of the time web savvy people who are surfing internet and knows already about adsense (Mostly Webmasters), and thus they hardly click adsense ads.

Ask yourself as a webmaster and publisher, do you ever click adsense ads on other sites you like and where you surf for inspiration?
On the other hand, if you run CPM (cost per 1000 impression) based ads from other networks (Cpxinteractive, Axill, TribalFusion etc.), then this traffic can bring in some revenue, as it will be all about impressions game, and CPM needs impression.

    Haha, I like paid traffic.

    Its more scalable.

Most people don't realize that there is more than just Google and PPC for paid traffic.

But viral traffic is good to.

Paid traffic is so good because it is scalable.

    Highly quality targeted BUYER traffic.

Now thats what I'm talking about!

Its really great that you got 1500 visitors alone from stumbleupon but it is not always sure that you will get huge amount of clicks. Even i used to get 1000 unique visitors daily but sometimes it happens that you do not get any click.

SO its not a matter to worry about. Try to put more efforts and you will get good revenues and results.

That's why I still prefer traffic from search engines. those traffic from Digg, Twitter, Stumbleupon probably just read the first paragraph and click close.

That's normal for traffic from StumbleUpon. You get a sudden increase in traffic but these traffic is not targeted. They come fast and leave fast too. In order to improve this situation, you just need to get more targeted traffic doing SEO and related articles submissions or try participate in Yahoo Answers.

It's normal to generate good number of visitors from stumble upon but most of the visitors coming from it are not interested in clicking your ads.
