How to make my site appeared at the top of search engine?

I know if your site has a good position on search engines, it could take you more and more traffics,but how to do it?

 

Content, content, content, and most importantly - unique content. That's all there is to it to be honest.

build a site with good content. do your prep work before writing your content as SEO optimized content is the key to success. do proper keyword research and identify few keywords you want to target. then use those keyword when writing your site content. once the site is up, you need to do proper onpage optimization which is very important. final step would be to keep building backlinks to your site which will increase your link popularity and search engine ranking

i think it is easier said and done and like saying "you need to be dedicated to be rich"
in todays world with billion of websites,what ever you write is written by some other person in some form....so...if it is latin content.....then presentation has also some part to play...
and that is what people call seo...
after all we shouldnot forget seo is also about matching keyword with site texts....
so if u write a word (unique) which is in nobody's mind in world then you wont be sought or u wont come #1 for useful terms...

plus i think it is 6 billion dollar question i dont know the excat count....
if there was any excat rule of thumb or 2+3 formula to get #1 in serp....site like google would not have existed....and seo industry would not have existed even in dreams...

 

Choose keywords, do seo for this keywords, then rank for this keywords.

 

Be sure your through with on page optimization and start doing your keyword analysis. Then if you already pick up your targeted keyword, start building quality link by doing the off page optimization with your targeted keyword.

 

LOT of Backlinks, depends on keyword..

 

Haha i have to laugh at how many people say content, it should be more content, backlinks, site performance, keyword research (i.e what is your competition in the search engines, how many others are trying to rank for your main keyword, how many have backlinks which use your main keyword as their anchor text .etc)

There's way more to SEO than simply content, if that were true i could out-rank anyone in any demographic.

 

I dont think unique content matters as much anymore as its too hard to monitor.

 

about getting top rank.. does using long tail keyword helps? do u normally use the long tail keyword as a title? (sorry i need to ask, i'm a newbie)
