Looking for an SEO company

Hi all, I am looking for an SEO firm that is extremely inexpensive however extremely effective. I am looking to increase quality traffic, rankings and get my pages out of the supplemental index.

I am looking for any suggestions on how to find a great firm at reasonable prices. I was told that some firms in the Philippines are my best bet.

    Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions.

Yes, never use an seo company whose first language isn't the same as the one your site is in.
And if you want a 'great' firm - be prepared to pay at least 1500 us dollars a month.
And don't bother to even look at the offer of anyone on DP who answers in broken English and hasn't been answering questions with quality replies for at least 6 months.

you know what they say, "you get what you pay for."

if you are looking for "extremely inexpensive" company, then what you get is "extremely poor quality." some good companies may provide decent work at a competitive rate, but no good company will offer services for extremely cheap rate. there is a cost of running a business and employees will need to get paid also :)

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives. If you want a quality work, you need to invest on it!

If you are looking for inexpensive seo firm then you have to compromise in quality of work and rankings.

r u looking for quality work which leads to elegance image of your website for gaining better ranking and traffic or poor quality work which leads to your site towards spamming ?

you can contact me email id (which is in my signature) for free seo analysis report.

You gotta love "Extremely Cheap, but Extremely Good" ...isn't that an oxymoron? :)

    ...there's no such thing.

I'm also interested in a good SEO management company out there. I see a lot of posts in here, about how he's not going to find Cheap/Good Companies... Okay SO...

    How bout some Good/Proven companies?

Someone with the street cred of actually increasing traffic to a site. Leave the word cheap right out of my question. Because I know you certainly get what you pay for in life, and I NEED traffic stat! Lets see some suggestions.

Some folks at the philipines are your best shot not firms pal.

And those dudes know as much seo as I know quantum mechanics (at this point at least :p)... so yeah you get extremely inexpensive but forget the effective part pal. You get what you pay for pretty much.

    How much is your budget?
maybe that way I'll be able to help you better.

SEO is one thing. Traffic is another. As simple as that.

You can get one without the other, they dont have to bound at all.
In fact the majority of my traffic as nothing to do with the search engines, and it's better if you structure your business that way, or google may feel like dance a little with your site's serps and than you're screwed. :p

Might be better to start with saying "this is my budget, who can work with it?".

Frankly I don't know any specific company to recommend to you unless you tell me your budget and market.

I've done SEO work and had really good success for some major companies. But I'm not cheap nor do I put up with any client BS.

But it really comes down to your budget. Are you willing to drop $10,000? How about $50,000? (depending on the market you are in).

If you are searching for SEO firms then be prepared to pay for the cost. You will never find quality work that is cheap.

    Just do it yourself

I agree with magda, never compromise with quality if you have to pay high amount. Or you may check my first signature to compare with others.

*Nods reading their reply* Fair enough all cards out on the table...

I'm looking for traffic, at least that's what I believe I'm after. I work for a small (In relative terms to the interwebs) Auto parts sales website.

about three years ago we did a total site redesign and now have a very easy to use website. (The first link down in my sig) We did a ton of research on SEO and I know back links and Content are A#1 for getting up in the search results. We made sitemaps and all plugged into Google. Slowly we climbed up our way up the search results and made it to page 3 or 4 of the key term 'Auto parts'.

About a year ago we had some of the best numbers we've ever had. 5000 (More or less) visits a day... but since the spring time that number has been steadily falling, now we get about 1500 visits a day (...Less)

I admit I've slacked off the back links and content, and forum placements, mainly because as the only website/IT Department/Car Sales (Long story)/Counter man/Odd job man...I'm stretched think, it's hard for me to keep on that as much. So now the powers that be are panicked, and want me to find an SEO company to manage the stuff that will keep us up there, (Content, Backlinks, etc)

So there it is... I figure they'll spend about $5000 at extreme max... but that would be pushing it. I suggested that we get a writer who we can buy regular articles from and I can post it around, along with working on back links, and we'll save a bundle...

That's it in a nut shell... Any suggestions that don't end with me with a gun in my mouth? :D

Don't they have companies that handle getting relevant back links for your site? How are those on cost? Are they effective? I know how to SEO a site, I just need help with the constants like Back links and Articles... Anyone know a good automotive content writer as well? :D

I do SEO for a living, I don't advertise because I dont need to. However I can choose who I want to work with, I turn people down all the time, they have to have a decent site, professional outlook and give me a big job and can talk on gtalk etc.

I like to be balls deep in my work and I only want to work with serious people, the fact that you are asking for cheap shows a lack of understanding or a lack of commitment.

I have started doing paid per ranking, due to the fact that people are unable to justify spending on SEO unless they are guarenteed for results, if you pay a cheap company, they will throw mud against the wall and you may get a couple of words ranking good, but not as many as you could.

A good seo'r is worth his weight in gold, you can easily get money back, so don't be cheap on it!
