I think what should be removed from the net is free porn.

You're stupid. Porn does not encourage teens to become sexually active, HORMONES do. I became sexually active BEFORE I ever watched porn, fool. Every human will become sexually active with or without porn, so your point is invalid.

 

i think its pathetic of people to hate porn when you know in private they probably buy more porn then you or i do. Its a part of life if you dont like it simply dont go there simple as that. Hate religious christian people like that.

Many people will become sexually active before watching porn - if so then what he said isn't totally correct. There are good and bad points for it, for example porn may release sexual tension in teenagers/adults so they do not have the urge to have sexual intercourse, thus preventing STD's and unwanted pregnancy's... it tends to work both ways, but think about it in times before the internet, there was still porn in magazines, books and videos... let's go to a time before that, when there were no videos and magazines, hundreds of years ago. I am pretty sure teenagers would explore sexual feelings then and they'd have no porn - although depending on some religions they would be forbidden to, but still, the argument is that porn doesn't MAKE people sexually active or encourage sexual activity specifically, it will happen naturally as people grow older.

Anyway, I am not going to continue in this topic because it seems to be based of religion.

 

Honestly, I started watching porn when i was 13 and until now i never have sex with anyone. I think you should widen your perspective as it is how people observe it.

 

Thats the best point Ive seen made, hoooowever porn DOES MAKE people sexually active in their minds/thoughts to girls which is not moral there for it could lead to other actions. Its like someone watches it first time or maybe its there 10th time, they do gain sick thoughts towards girls, its not like you can watch and and not be affected in bad ways.

 

I disagree. I have watched porn movies tens of millions of times but I don't have any sick thoughts about any girl (or any guy). When I meet females in normal routine I meet them like any normal person.
Don't tell us that you know more about us (porn watchers) than we do about ourselves.

Knew plenty of people from highschool/college from this, not using this reference as an example but those images are in your HEAD you do THINK about that and it does change your thoughts at some point. (exception to you newbie191 because your just totally weird in my opinion )

I would relate that to... a 6 year old watching his first rated R movie for bloody/violence/gore/rape. Those images are stored in his mind, and it does affect the thoughts.

 

Most certainly not me, you're wrong and narrow-minded. Imho, porn might be even a positive thing and the answer. Some studies show that porn may lead to smaller amount of rapes and violent behaviors. Internet is a place of informational freedom and it should stay this way. If some one want to watch porn he will watch anyway e.g. he will steal it in a newspaper shop or will borrow it from an older friend and there is no way to stop him. Lets be honest, it is the parents responsibility to limit the access to it and the only right way. If parents don't care about their wards then we should teach them to do so.

 

Meh... In a way, you can have your own imaginary world that MAY prevent you from doing those things, but still there just terrible thoughts.

If the op didn't want to bring religion into this then where did the "sin" part come from? It's a sin against what a law? Sins usually come from religion on the tendancy that you shouldn't involve yourself with anything wrong against that religions personal views.

Why don't you just admit porn helps release tensions related to sex and prevents sexual molesting and rap incidents?? It is legal in most countries why don't the lawmakers ban this in the 1st place if it is such a bad thing??? I am sure they know better what's happening.
