    CTR = click through rate = No. of visitors clicked/ total no. of visitors * 100

    You need to improve your CTR by changing theme, position of your ads etc... around 4-5% CTR is good though.

    Dude, a simple change. It is not total no. of visitors, it is total no. of impressions.... :):):)

    Should it be impressions or visits? I thought the same as akki313.

    its impression, and not vistors (base on my adsense account, i calculate it clicks/impression x 100)

    for example in your adsense account your page impression 400 and the clicks is 12, so your ctr =

    ctr = 12 /400 X 100 = 3%
    (12(clicks) divide by 400(impression) multiply 100.

    goole said:
    Click-through Rate (CTR) - The other factor that influences earnings is click-through rate (CTR). CTR is a measure of how often users click your ads. For example, if you receive one click on your ad after 100 people have viewed that ad, you are said to have a CTR of 1%. Once again, the "average" CTR for a website will vary based on the site. However, for a larger site, 1% might be considered as a decent click-through rate.

    From my reading and experience high ctr 5%-10% is good which consider you get a good number of clicks for certain page impression, also a good adsense implementation on your site. but very high ctr also not good, why? example 70% means user tend to clicks ads rather then info or service you provide(your implementation is genius enough and maybe you will get love letter from google). But i also read a ppl got 40% ctr but google ok with it..emm, for me just 5% already good,

    dukhi im not expert so there are may be a lot better explanation about this, just sharing what i know, if there are mistake, i apologize in advance =)

    hope this help

    mine, just (1.5% - 4%)daily.

    # of ads clicked / total # of imps * 100 = CTR

    I have seen sites with CTR as high as 10%. So you can rate a CTR of 1.47% yourself.
