Google Rankings down? Hang tight and don't change anything

Thanks monosodium for giving everyone the heads up. I have to say I try to contribute as much valuable information as I can to this forum. I have been doing this a long time. I left here for 3 years because of some of the B.S. that was going on and I can see it still is. I only came back because there are people here that need guidance and actually learn something from my posts. I really think there needs to be an overhaul on Moderators on some of these forums. I have recieved infractions for absolute senseless reasons. Yet watch others post absoultutely useles post in the wrong categories and get away with it. A lot of good people have left this forum never to return that have a lot of knowledge and were very helpful to others that need it. I think the veteran mods should really take a lok at what is going on and do something about this.

What a timely Post...trust be I have been hugely panicking over last 4 days, My traffic has suddenly dropped in last 3-4 days to less than half. I was consistently ranking for good keywords for over 2 years. I have not made any drastic changes, but this has happened.

and I am talking about traffic not thousands but few hundred thousand of traffic.

I feel like plucking my hair out...Google just controls every damn thing !!!!!!!

My site also disappeared from serps. Is there any guarantee that your site will be back ? What if it wont ever ? then do you have to transfer your site to a new domain and start everything from scrap?

 

maybe I can write something about christmas, new year, and food poisoning!

 

aftr giving apage rank to awebsite why google changes the page rank.i hope if one ads good content then page rank should increase but why decreases?

 

This is really great of you to point this out. Everytime ther is a change in the sites result on Google, people tend to panic instantly and think that there is something wrong in what they did to the site and blame Google later on.

Like what is said here, dont make any drastic changes instantly. Or you might end up destroying your site even more. People should consider the fact that the results are caused by Googles changes as well.

 

Still no improvement... I wonder if it may cause of Site Performance while it shows an average of 3.2 seconds to load ?

 

Yep seen this many times before, it has affected my sites differently in different countries this year

A few days After the holidays (jan 3rd-5th), and in many cases I was in a better position than before the drop. But caffeine is also another factor here.

I would not surprise me if they decide to move from this algo change straight to Caffeine

 

Don't agree with this.
When a webmaster overhauls a site it's things he should have done in the first place.

 

Many webmasters change their site just to tweak it for Google and not for their customers.

Why don't you try SMM to uplift your site rankings ?? About SMM, you yourself have to sneak out.... good luck.
