Almost all the models on the covers are beautiful women-- whether the magazine is targeted at the male or female market. You usually can't go wrong with a pretty female face.

Something that people aren't commenting on is that number "80% of buyers.." - buyers of what? It depends on the niche and target audience. That's being glossed over, so the numbers would be inaccurate. And there also needs to be more detail. The ethnicity of the buyer vs. the model is an issue that most people don't want to deal with, while the colors that they are wearing has an impact on the viewers disposition and tendency to act, too. The color red, in particular, has a specific effect on mens attraction to women, but it doesn't affect women. ya of course women are always good at shopping and buying stuff rather than men..

But if u can sell a stuff with a fixed price to a women in the market... LOL U are the next Ebay powerseller.

 

If you go for this tactic - try to be sure the taste of the ladies and their attire matches the product and target market somewhat. If you're selling lingerie, go to town with the glamor models. If you're just trying to get extra traffic from men be sure it's age appropriate for who would be buying that type of product.

 

It can happen once but if you have good content with images then it happen again & again.
