Fastest way to collect email?

Im doing some email collection but I can't see much result. Do you all know what is the most effective ways? If yes, please let me know. Thanks

 

I guess you gotta offer something more useful then, to have people signup.

 

Fastest way is using an email spider. Yes it is unethical and if you eventually use these emails, you will be operating in a major grey area. Also the emails won't be as targetted, but its a very fast way to collect.

 

article marketing is a good choice if you are secious, or you can provide free things.

 

Contests always work pretty well. Have users enter an email for a chance to win, say an ipod or ps3 or cash.

1. Have the subscription form above the fold on the homepage.
2. Offer a free give away and give people incentive. How many time do YOU give away your email for the hell of it w/o getting something in return.
3. Allow people to sign up from every single page of your content filled website (assuming you have one)

 

What methods are you currently using to collect emails?
Offer people a free ebook or some chapters of an ebook you are selling.
Also - use a css popup that covers the content of your page asking for people to sign up.

 

best way is to have some contest. say holiday give away to 3 ppl 100USD . you wil surely get it like me

i would just suggest crawling any targeted forums and mail blast them.. i know it's black hat.. but at the starting it doesn't matter....

 

why doing email collection? spam?

 

I like to use GetResponse's PowerLeads. I get around 5-10 leads a day for not much money and it adds up! If you want more, you should check out paid traffic, like PPC and PPV.

 

I vote for PPV...you could collect thousands of emails in a few hours if you have the budget for it.

Offering something good can definitely grab the attention of your visitors that will lead to sign-up in your site.

 

The problem is how to send them later, it's very easy to get a lot of active email addrss

 

what i observe, if you have a good product and have a joint venture with top2 marketer,
then you plan for prelaunch campaign by starting opt-in form..then you gonna be flooded with people who is interested to know more your offer...The big point is, your product is good and valued

 

A few people mentioned some sort of program to gather emails. However I find it quite risky, I mean sure you may be a few people replying to your offer or you may get a few people reporting your email as spam.

 

Give away something for free - like a white paper or a free report or something like that and people will readily sign up to your email list with their email. Once you have their emails you can build a list and market regularly to them using email marketing methods and autoresponders.
