HELLO, i am an asp.net developer but it is my first time to manage a website as a webmaster. i registered my domain 4 months ago shortly, i added two articles to my blog and made couple of back links then i slept for two months. i started to add articles seriously from about 2 months now(into a subdomain) . today i have about 30 blog posts. search traffic(which is the only traffic i got) ranging from 50-100 uv/day. am i doing well?? it is my first website so i don't know if my progress is normal or there is something messing?? last thing what is the average time needed to get 1000 uv/day (it is my first milestone lol) i really appreciate your help guys
thanks alot guys i really appretiate it. i am a dentist and i write about dentistry i think that i offer a very good articles . about understanding the market i think i am very beginner to understand that. i just feels that the visitors count is growing very very slowly and i want to kinow if it is normal?? i just listening peoble speaking about thousands of visitors every day and i just don't know if i will reach this numbers some day so i just want to know a very rough avarage figures of normal traffic growing over time thanks again and waiting for your thaughts
One of my clients is a cosmetic dentist and we've been able to generate great results for him. Results in the top 5 for very competitive keywords. & one of top in our metropolitan area (which is one of the top 3 largest cities in the U.S.) You'll need to work on a number of things to increase your traffic. High quality, interesting content. Build links. Your domain age, which is something you cannot change, obviously, but it's something that Google places a lot of weight on. Try targeting local searches.

Hi, I have one through your website and found it good in terms of content and appearance.However I would like to edit your blogs images(specially the header image) and add suitable alt tags to them.Here are few things you can do: 1.Submit unique and original articles in the article directories with a suitable keyword and take a link back from them targeting your home page or the most suitable/ relevant page according to the article content.At least submit 4 articles a week. Your relevant keywords can be wisdom teeth, denture adhesive , teeth whitening , tooth extraction , dentures , denture , teeth , dental , tooth , dentist etc. 2.Submit your blog to more blog directories. 3.Regularly update your content. 4.Submit press release for your latest updates. 5.Submit RSS feed of your blog. 6.You can exchange links with other websites or blogs which is based on the same topic as yours.The site must be unique and rich in content. thhhhanks johnhanks i really appreciate your kind help. i made most of what you said except press releases and article submitting. and i have more question here when i start to syndicate my articles should i submit the original article or i have to write a new one. i thinking if i send a new article this will rank over me in rankings for the same key words as my website is new. so i think that i have to submit the original post of mine so i will rank better for m keywords as i am the original and the other sites have the copy ?? thanks again for you great review
50-100 uv/day is good if you are in a niche industry, if your industry is very broad then the amount of hits you should be seeking should be limitless, good luck!
It's entirely dependent on your niche as Dan above me says. If you were looking at say - poker tables made of sweets or if you industry is 'finance' then you've got the scenario.
Every site is different, you may find that what's normal or average for you is only having 100 visits a day.
When its came to article submission, always submit an unique and fresh article. Do your research job about the topic on internet and then frame the whole thing according to you.THX
Hey this guy is funny. Of course you are doing great for your come back. lol I just have 2 moths with my website and I have a good amount of traffic even though I slept for couple of weeks like you did. In other words, Dont fall sleep then you wont get any traffic.
