Buying Need fairly small script - probably very easy...

Situation: I'm creating a splash page with a video, and it would be annoying if regular visitors have to go through it every time they visit the my site.

I was wondering if some one can make (or find) a script that you paste into the page, and what it will do is once the IP address they are using visits that page, if they visit it again, it will redirect to a page of my choosing.

    Example:
    User 1 visits www.google.com/index.html
After user 1 visits it, when he/ she comes back, instead of seing it again, it will redirect to www.google.com/index2.html

User 2 visits for the first time, and it cycles over again for every new visitor. I hope hope this could be done per IP address.

If something like this exists or be created, please post here with link, or your price to make the script.

I know that sounds a little confusing. If you don't get it, PM me and I will try to explain it a little better.

Hey, if you have PHP installed, I can do this for you no problem. Quote is $30, and that includes install. Looking forward to working with you.

Besides PHP, do you have a MySQL database as well? If you want this to be done efficiently you are going to need some sort of database to store all the IPAddresses. If you want you could also store a date of the last time they saw the splash page, and if they've been gone for a long time (a certain number of days/weeks/months) it will direct them to the splash page.

But yeah, I can do this, is pretty simple.

I'll match carolynheath's approximate quote of $30, as I showed more insight into what you'll actually need if you want this to work well :p
