Can anybody recommend software to run an ad network ?, whether free or not.

I have upto $1000 dollars to spend on the software.

I like openx but sadly its more for running ads on your own network of sites rather than having advertiser and publisher functions like adbrite, adwords/adsense etc

    Thanks

we were developing an ad network script, spent $7k into it and project halted, the script lays somewhere now and abandoned, if you have any logical steps to revive the project let me know. it is an affiliate network script, like cj.com

If you aren't sure about making it an ad network or an affiliate network, you should contract with Right Media, since they have CPM/CPA/CPL/CPC capability, so you get a decent amount of flexibility.
