I've seen some pretty fast indexing times when it comes to articles but I was never really able to match any of those times. But over the past few months my pages have been getting indexed pretty fast so I wanted to share the times with some of you guys. You can get the full scoop here: Fastest Indexing Time In Google, feel free to leave a comment on the site or post your thoughts here.

I'd also be interested in seeing some times from others if they have them available.

Hiya... Google seems to love blogs for fast indexing. We generally a get new blog post picked up within a few minutes of posting although I've never timed it exactly to see how fast lol. I'll have a look on next post and pop the result here. The fact that the blog is also listed in Google news might have a factor in getting listed quickly aswell.

I have also noticed that google has been caching my site (not blog) on a daily basis which is much fatser then normal. Usually it is every 4-5 days.

    Hello banless,

For me it was even 13 minutes. I do not know why it happened so quickly.

the indexing and the caching of page/site/blog is based on the traffic and the SEO of that page/site/blog. So, you really dont need to worry about the indexing time... all you need to do is provide good content and do proper SEO. That would automatically reduce the time between 2 indexing of google.

Websites created in HTML doesn't seem to get indexed fast, but Wordpress blogs, and especially Blogger-blogs get indexed amazingly fast.

1 minute and 30 seconds on this end .. not an all time record by any stretch, but pretty fast for a weblog that's hosted independently ..

Yup .. it's like ping-o-matic has a direct line straight to Google ..

Actually, Googlebot taps ping-o-matic about every two seconds because 98% of all of the blog postings go there the second you hit the publish button.

I agree about pingomatic. It seems like anything pinged via Wordpress publishing screen gets indexed within a matter of minutes. I have seen new posts get indexed within an hour though I havent really timed it so far.

Google seems to visit sites that have a lot of traffic and change frequently. Here at digitalpoint I've seen some posts indexed in 2-10 mins frequently in the past. Haven't checked lately if it still does, but this place does get lots of traffic and googlebot probably lives here.
